There are tons of cool coffee sites circulating in the internet ether. Instead of creating a never-ending list of links to all these sites I have decided to share my favorites with you each month by choosing a “Coffee Website of the Month.” While I don’t have any fancy award to give out, I have chosen for December the coffee art website JustCoffeeArt.com.

This interesting site showcases the artwork of Andrew Saur and Angel Sarkela-Saur who create paintings using coffee as their medium. This idea started when they duo had an art show at a coffeeshop and wanted to create something unique and coffee-related for the showcase. Since they began, Angel and Andrew have created hundreds of pieces of coffee art and have been featured in articles worldwide and on several news programs as well as the Food Network series Unwrapped.

Original and Limited Edition prints of their artwork can be ordered on their website or purchased in person at one of their coffeehouse art shows.

There are a ton of Chicago coffee shops and there are a number of good local bean producers. We’ll be focusing more on the prior, but will still touch on the latter too. Facts, gossip, and bold-face funny fabrications are all par for the course. Haters of sarcasm should get their own coffee blog.
